Touch of Faith: When Canes Get Kicked Aside

Linda Budd Episode 1208

Imagine watching someone abandon their cane and walk freely after years of debilitating pain—this is just one of the remarkable testimonies shared by Pastor Linda Budd in this powerful episode. As a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda approaches scripture with unwavering literalism, particularly embracing the biblical mandate to "lay hands on the sick and see them recover."

The centerpiece of our conversation revolves around an extraordinary Encounters Healing Service where a woman was delivered from a spirit of infirmity affecting her shoulder and the right side of her body. What followed this initial breakthrough was even more astonishing—ninety minutes of continuous healing where "one person after another got healed" without delay or exception. The atmosphere was electric with divine presence, leaving everyone in attendance "absolutely amazed" by the manifestation of supernatural power.

Throughout our discussion, Pastor Linda articulates her theological framework with striking clarity: "Jesus Christ is the healer," "Jesus always heals," and "Sickness is always of the devil and healing is always from Jesus Christ." Her ministry challenges conventional thinking about healing, faith, and the supernatural in our modern world. Whether you're a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between, these testimonies invite you to reconsider what might be possible when faith is applied practically to physical suffering. Are you struggling with illness or know someone who is? This episode might just transform your perspective on divine healing and recovery. Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, oklahoma, and I take the scriptures literally. That says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need.

Speaker 1:

Listen to this testimony. So a woman got delivered from a spirit of infirmity in her body at the Encounters Healing Service and it was in her shoulder and it was all down the right side of her body and she got absolutely free to the point where she could now walk and I kicked her cane aside. After this happened, for the next hour and a half, one person after another, after another after another got healed. There was no delay. Everyone was getting healed of everything that was wrong with them, and the Spirit of the Lord was so powerful in the room that we were all just absolutely amazed in the room, that we were all just absolutely amazed.

Speaker 1:

The presence of the Lord, the power of the Lord was present to heal the sick, and I want you to know today that Jesus Christ is the healer. I want you to know today that Jesus always heals. Sickness is always of the devil and healing is always from Jesus Christ. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at a motivational event, your church or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation.
