Minute to Heal It Podcast

What if faith is the spark your body needs?

Linda Budd Episode 1316

Healing doesn’t wait for perfect conditions—it meets people where they stand. We share a bold, unfiltered look at what happens when a church talks about healing, practices it openly, and expects real change. From the opening moments, we ground the conversation in Scripture and lived practice: years of praying for the sick, calling out conditions, and asking in Jesus’ name for people to be restored. The heart of the story is a striking testimony of chronic pain breaking after a decisive step of faith and a direct confrontation with what we name as the spiritual source of suffering.

We unpack a simple but challenging framework: “You get what you talk about.” When a community consistently teaches on healing, prays with authority, and invites response, expectation rises and outcomes begin to follow. We explore how naming the need, moving physically toward prayer, and praying with clarity combine to create a moment where faith, obedience, and courage meet. For pastors and leaders, this is a practical playbook—make space at the end of services, lay hands on the sick, and lead with conviction. For anyone living with pain or limitation, this is an invitation to hope and to action.

The episode’s tempo stays focused and purposeful, pressing past vague inspiration to a concrete call: talk about healing, lay hands on the sick, and cast out what doesn’t belong. We share what we’ve seen, why we do it, and how ordinary believers can step into the same work with humility and boldness. If this resonates, share it with someone who needs faith for today, subscribe for more real stories and teaching, and leave a review to help others find these conversations. Ready to add your own testimony to the story we’re telling together?

SPEAKER_00:

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. As a minister of the gospel, you get what you talk about. And I have been preaching on how you can receive your healing. And at the close of each service, I'm calling people out to get them healed. One woman in particular asked her what she had wrong. She had fibromyalgia. I told her it's a demon. And I said, When you step in the aisle, the power, the power of God is going to hit you, and you're going to be released and free. She did that. The car God hit her. She began to growl because fibromyalgia is a demon. That thing came out of her, and she has not had any pain since she had it all of her life, and now she's free. You get what you talk about. I declare and decree in the name of Jesus that it's time that the church of God, the people of God, begin to talk about healing, and they begin to talk about deliverance, and they begin to lay hands on the sick and cast out the demons in Jesus' name. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at the motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivergate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
