Minute to Heal It Podcast
What if perseverance is the doorway to healing?
Some stories land at the exact moment you need them most. Pastor Linda Budd opens up about her calling to pray for the sick, the steady practice of laying hands on those in pain, and why perseverance in faith matters when answers seem slow. She doesn’t speak from a distance; she shares the tension of her own eye condition and the surprising confirmation that surfaced mid-prayer—a woman stood up and testified that she’d been healed of the very same issue a year earlier. That one moment reframed discouragement into resolve and turned a personal need into a communal reminder: keep going.
We walk through the core rhythms that sustain hope under pressure—asking for prayer again, standing on scripture day after day, and speaking truth over the body when fear and fatigue whisper otherwise. The message isn’t hype or formula; it’s a grounded way to live while contending for healing. Along the way, we explore how testimonies function as anchors, how community fuels courage, and how simple obedience opens the door for remarkable outcomes. From chronic pain to sudden diagnosis, these stories and practices give language for those waiting between promise and breakthrough.
If you’re facing illness, pain, or weariness from repeated asks, this conversation offers practical steps and a fresh lens to see God’s kindness at work. Listen for the details in the testimony, the quiet persistence in prayer, and the conviction that what God has done before, He can do again. Subscribe, share this episode with someone who needs hope today, and leave a review to help more listeners find these stories of healing and resilience.

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years. And I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. You know, sometimes God speaks in very amazing and wonderful ways. Currently I'm suffering with an eye problem that uh I have to have a miracle for. And so as I was praying for people Sunday night, I told people that. And a woman stood up and she said, Well, you got me healed of that a year ago. And she went into detail and it was the very same problem that I'm having. And she said, You got me healed of it a year ago. Now, isn't that wonderful? Because that was the Lord speaking to me to stay steady and be encouraged because my healing is at hand. And so I want to encourage you that your healing is at hand. Just because you may have gotten prayed for once, that's not enough. Just keep going for it. Keep standing on faith, keep reading the word, keep quoting the scriptures over your problem, and your healing will appear in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at the motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
