Minute to Heal It Podcast

Hip, Heart, Prostate, Pancreas—And A Whole Lot Of Surprised Faces

Linda Budd Episode 1324

A quiet room in Coffeyville didn’t stay quiet for long. What began as prayer for one man’s pain turned into a wave of healing that touched hips, sciatica, prostates, and even hearts—then surprised everyone when long-frozen fingers opened without a single direct prayer. We walk you through that night step by step, showing how specific prayer, a tangible sign of heat, and bold yet grounded declarations set the stage for a whole room to respond with faith.

I share how years of praying for the sick shaped a simple approach: ask clearly, pray specifically, watch for signs, and invite people to receive for themselves. You’ll hear why I sometimes say “new body parts,” how I balance faith with wisdom by urging listeners to consult their doctors, and the moment I sensed a heightened presence that shifted my role from striving to guiding. The congregation’s response grew from a dozen raised hands to a room full of people testifying to change, and we finished by lifting our hands in gratitude—only to see more unexpected breakthroughs during praise.

If you’ve wondered how healing ministry can move from isolated moments to a collective experience, this story offers practical insight: look for physical cues like heat, speak life with precision, honor medical confirmation, and give space for testimony and worship. Listen with an open heart, share it with someone who needs hope today, and if it resonates, subscribe and leave a review so more people can find these stories of faith and healing.

SPEAKER_00:

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. I was in Coffeyville, Kansas, and a lady had just gotten her hip and her sciatica healed. And a man had been sitting in the front row, and he was really excited about all the healings that were taking place. And so he stood up and he said, Would you give me healed of four things? And so I went one at a time to get new body parts for all the problems he had. The first was a hip problem, so we got him a new hip in Jesus' name, then the sciatica nerve in the leg, and then he declared that he was just so hot. And I told him and everyone, when you're praying for healing and you get hot, it's a sign to keep praying because God's healing you. Well, we then got him a new prostate, and not only for him, but all the men in the room. I had faith for that since God was touching this man so strongly and the glory was present. I then began to declare that this church was a diabetes-free zone. Members were going to come into proper alignment. I instructed them not to get off of insulin but to consult with your doctor. But I said there would be a noticeable change. Everyone was getting a new pancreas. This man had also told me he was having heart issues. So I began to get him a new heart in the name of Jesus, and I told him he was getting new ventricles and the veins were no longer blocked, and that he would begin to feel very good. Well, people all over the congregation were receiving this for themselves as well, as I released it on all. And they were really excited when I said it because it was like they knew that he had this problem. When the service ended, there had been so many healings in the glory that I asked everyone just to come forward and come to the front, and we would give God all the glory and put our hands in the air and just praise him for all that he'd done. Well, this man, he began to show me and all in the congregation that he could open and close his hands and make two fists. He had not been able to do that for years. Then he showed us that his two middle fingers were no longer stuck together. He showed me a scar in his hand where he had taken a cut from the fall. And from that time on his fingers were stuck and he couldn't make a fist in either hand. Now the fingers came apart, and a bump that had been on his hand was gone, and he could make a fist. And everyone was so excited because they knew this man and they knew it to be so. And this is what happens in the glory. I didn't pray for this man's hands, and I didn't know about any of these hand issues. So when I walked into that church, the angel of the Lord touched my cheek on the left side, and I know that when that happens, that the glory is manifest. And when that happens, I know I don't have to do a whole lot of anything other than direct people to receive, but that God's going to heal them in a major way. And that is what our Lord did. Glory to God. About halfway through that service, I had to ask people how many are healed. And about 12 people had already raised their hands. And at the close, they all raised their hands that they were healed. And so there were approximately around 40 people, and they all stated that they were healed. And when I questioned a second time, they they still they still say, Yes, we're all healed. And so that's when I quit. And that's when I called everybody up to just praise God and and to go home. Well, when I did that, then even more people started getting uh different things happening. And so it was just really amazing. Glory to God. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ?
