A Woman Receives Two New Knees And A New Future
What if a moment of prayer could rewrite the story of your future, not just your pain? Today we share a vivid account from our Tulsa congregation where bold faith, specific insight, and practical courage came together in a way that surprised everyone in the room. It starts with a simple conviction: when Scripture says to lay hands on the sick, we take that seriously. From there, things move fast—testimony lifts hope, a precise word of knowledge names a hidden struggle, and a woman receives not just relief, but a real turning point.
We walk through the heartbeat of our healing ministry, shaped by years of praying for people with all kinds of conditions. You’ll hear how a story from William Branham’s life sparked fresh confidence to listen for the secrets of the heart, not to expose or impress, but to serve the person in front of us. When we identified a left knee issue in a visitor we hadn’t met, she stepped forward and reported transformation—then asked for the second knee, and did the same. The shift didn’t stop at the body; it reached into purpose. With pain gone, a deeper question rose: stay on disability or take the job she had long wanted? That honest crossroads reveals what healing often requires—new choices that match a new reality.
We talk about why specificity in prayer builds faith, how to test a breakthrough with wisdom, and what loving pastoral care looks like after the moment on stage. Healing is more than a headline; it’s an invitation to step into responsibility, work, and hope. If you’ve wrestled with chronic pain, or you’re curious about words of knowledge and practical follow-through, this story offers a grounded, compassionate look at both. Join us, consider what change could look like for you, and share this with someone who needs a spark of courage today. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us: what brave step are you ready to take?

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. I was reading out of a book by William Branham, and in the story, God was using William Branham to get many people healed, all sorts of terrible things. And he also spoke to William Branham at one time in his life and he said, I'm going to start moving in your life, and I'm going to start telling you the secrets of people's hearts. And when you do it'll really increase their faith. And so suddenly William Branham began to know the secrets of people's hearts as he was praying for their healing. Well, after I got done reading this story to my congregation on Sunday night, I looked up at a woman and suddenly I knew what was wrong with her. I've never met this woman before. And I said, You have a knee problem, it's in your left knee. And she said, Yes, I do. She walked to the front, she got a brand new knee, and she actually says to me, It's both of my knees. And so I said, Well, let's get you another brand new knee, and so we did. And then suddenly I knew that she uh had there was a job that she wished that she could do, but she had never been able to do it because of the poor knees that she had. But I said, Uh, but you're at a crossroads, you need to decide if you're really gonna take this job or if you're just gonna continue to live off government funding here in the United States because you're getting checks from the government because of your disability. She said, Yes, that is true. And I said, This is your day of opportunity, this is your day of letting go of that government funding, getting the job that you've always wanted, and going into the preferable future that the Lord has for you. Well, she was absolutely astounded, and I had to keep reminding her before she left, it's time to break through, get the job that you want to have, and get off the government funding in the name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord, for healing the sick of the knee, and I thank you, Lord, for exposing the secrets of people's hearts in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at a motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivergate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
