Pain has a way of shrinking your world down to a single point, but what if that point can become a turning place for hope? We hear from Linda Budd, a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as she shares why she takes the biblical call to “lay hands on the sick” literally and why she’s spent years pursuing what she describes as a healing anointing. The heart of this message is simple and direct: Jesus Christ still heals, and prayer can meet you right where you are.

We move from testimony into a spoken healing prayer for anyone carrying pain, sickness, disease, or infirmity. Linda prays in the name of Jesus for recovery and even for what she calls “new body parts”, offering a faith-forward moment designed to build expectation and courage. If you’ve been searching for a healing prayer, Christian healing testimony, or encouragement to keep believing when your body says otherwise, you’ll find this short episode focused and intense.

Then the conversation takes an unusual and thought-provoking turn: the idea that physical pain may sometimes function as discernment. Linda speaks about thumb pain specifically, connecting it to symbolism and a possible apostolic calling, even noting how left versus right could point to timing. Whether you come from a charismatic Christian background or you’re simply curious about prophetic ministry and spiritual gifts, this episode raises a real question: can the body be a place where God gets our attention for both healing and purpose?

If this brought you hope, share it with someone who needs prayer today, subscribe for more, and leave a review so others can find it. What stood out to you most: the healing prayer or the idea that pain can point to calling?

Pastor Linda's Healing Ministry

Linda Budd

Hi, I'm Linda Bud. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. If you have pain in your thumb, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are getting a brand new thumb right now. The other thing that could be happening if you're a believer and you have pain in the thumb is that the Lord is trying to talk to you through discernment. He's trying to touch your body, and the thumb represents the apostolic. And the apostolic ministry is one of the highest ministries in the church, and the Lord's calling you to apostolic ministry. If the pain is on your left hand, it means he's calling you into it right now. If it's on your right hand, he's calling you into it in the future. But I declare and decree that first of all, if there's a physical problem that it's being healed. Secondly, if it's just a manifestation of a gift of discernment, then I declare you are moving into apostolic ministry. I bless it. I bless your apostolic ministry in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at a motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivergate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
