Pain has a way of shrinking your world down to one sharp point, and we wanted to make room for something bigger: hope. Pastor Linda Budd from Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma shares why she takes Scripture literally when it says believers are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover, and how that conviction has shaped years of prayer ministry and healing testimonies. If you’re looking for Christian healing, prayer for the sick, faith-based encouragement, or simply a moment to breathe and believe again, you’ll find a clear and focused message here.

We move quickly from belief to practice as Linda prays for anyone carrying pain, illness, disease, or infirmity, speaking directly and specifically in the name of Jesus. She even calls out a vivid example centered on thumb pain, declaring healing and restoration in a way that mirrors the bold style of charismatic healing prayer. Along the way, she touches on a question many people wrestle with: when we feel something in our body, is it only physical, or can it also be spiritual prompting that invites us to seek prayer and discernment?

Linda also offers a unique perspective for believers by connecting thumb pain with discernment and a possible call to apostolic ministry, including a left-hand versus right-hand distinction to describe timing. The message ends with an invitation for churches, conferences, and motivational events to reach out if they want her to speak. If this encouraged you, subscribe for more, share it with someone who needs prayer today, and leave a review to help others find the show.

Linda's Introduction and Healing Ministry

Linda Budd

Hi, I'm Linda Budd. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. If you have pain in your thumb, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are getting a brand new thumb right now. The other thing that could be happening if you're a believer and you have pain in the thumb is that the Lord is trying to talk to you through discernment. He's trying to touch your body, and the thumb represents the apostolic. And the apostolic ministry is one of the highest ministries in the church, and the Lord's calling you to apostolic ministry. If the pain is on your left hand, it means he's calling you into it right now. If it's on your right hand, he's calling you into it in the future. But I declare and decree that first of all, if there's a physical problem that it's being healed. Secondly, if it's just a manifestation of a gift of discernment, then I declare you are moving into apostolic ministry. I bless it. I bless your apostolic ministry in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at the motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivergate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
