Pain, sickness, addiction, and hope collide in a direct message from Pastor Linda Budd of Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We start with a simple conviction that shapes everything: we take the Bible seriously when it says to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. That belief isn’t presented as theory. It’s presented as something we practise, something we’ve chased for years, and something we’ve watched change people in real time through prayer for healing and the name of Jesus.

You’ll hear a focused healing prayer for anyone dealing with pain, disease, or ongoing infirmity, spoken with the expectation that God can restore what’s broken. Then we share a testimony from a healing service that many listeners will relate to on a human level: a lifelong smoker quits, stays smoke-free for two weeks, and then gets overwhelmed with nausea. We talk about spiritual authority, the physical and emotional fallout that can come with breaking an addiction, and why we pray for deliverance all the way through.

If you’re searching for Christian healing ministry, testimonies of healing, prayer for the sick, or freedom from smoking addiction, this episode is a concentrated look at what that ministry sounds like. If it encourages you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find it.

Introduction: Faith-Based Healing

Linda Budd

Hi, I'm Linda Bud. I'm a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And I take the scriptures literally that says that we are to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. And so for several years I've gone after a healing anointing. I've prayed for people dozens of times over the years, and I see so many get healed. I've seen all manner of sickness and disease healed. If you have any pain in your body, if you're infirmed, if you have any disease, if you have any sickness at all, I just reach my hand up to heaven right now in the name of Jesus and I call forth the new body part that you need. Listen to this testimony. A man stood up in my healing service and he said, I have a testimony. And I said, Well, I'd like to hear your testimony. He said, I have been a smoker all my life and I have stopped smoking. I've been smoke-free for two weeks, but I'm at the place where I feel a lot of nausea. And I said, You come here. I've got authority over this in the name of Jesus because my father was a chain smoker all of my life growing up before he got saved. And the minute he got saved, all of that came off of him and he never touched a cigarette again. I said, So you come here because I'm going to pray for you. And so I prayed for the deliverance of the Lord off of that smoking all the way so that the nausea would leave him. And I believe that he said the nausea was gone. If you've been a smoker and you want to be free, I declare in Jesus' name that you too are getting free from this addiction. I command the devil to take his hands off of you, and I say every addiction is coming out of your body now in the name of Jesus. Aren't these just great testimonies of the goodness of God and the healing power of Jesus Christ? If you are interested in having me come and speak at the motivational event, your church, or a conference of some sort, I am more than happy to consider that invitation. Please contact my church's office, Rivergate Church Tulsa, 918 492 5511, and we'll see if we can set something up. God bless you.
