A healing story becomes hard to ignore when it gets specific. We share a moment from an Encounters healing service where I receive a word of knowledge for pain on the left side of the hip, and a woman named Carrie responds. I tell her plainly that she is getting a new hip right then, and she does what most of us would do if we were brave enough to hope: she asks to test it by walking steps. What happens next turns a spiritual claim into something measurable in her body.
Then the conversation takes a sharp turn. After Carrie sits back down, I get another word of knowledge, this time for a gastrointestinal issue, and she admits that one is hers too. The prayer moves into deliverance language and a forceful declaration of restoration, including “brand new intestines” and a “new stomach,” offered in the name of Jesus. If you have ever wondered how Christians connect prayer, healing, and spiritual authority, this story gives you a clear example of what that sounds like in the room.
The heartbeat of it all is simple: Jesus sees you. Not just the headline problem, not just the part you talk about, but the full set of struggles you are carrying in your body. We end with direct declarations for anyone dealing with hip pain or gastrointestinal issues, and an invitation to let faith rise again, even if you have been disappointed before. Subscribe for more stories and conversations like this, share this episode with someone who needs hope, and leave a review with your take: what do you believe is happening in moments like these?

I got a word of knowledge at the Encounters Healing Service for Pain in the left side of the hip. And a woman named Carrie responded, and I got her up front, and I said, You're getting a new hip right now. There's no more pain there. She says, Well, I need to walk steps. And I said, Go ahead and walk those steps. And as she did, she was delighted to find out that the pain was gone. She went back to her chair and I got another word of knowledge. And I said, Gastro issue. Gastrointestinal issue. She raised her hand and she said, Well, that's me too. So I said, Come on up, you demon. God is giving you brand new intestines. He's giving you new
