A frozen hand. A painful rotator cuff injury. Six and a half weeks of limitation after a hard fall and even a therapist can’t move the hand without tears. Then she walks into a Sunday night encounters healing service and something happens fast. We spot her as she comes in, call her forward, and speak a simple, direct prayer in the name of Jesus that the pain will leave and healing will come.

What follows is the kind of moment you don’t forget. She looks down and starts moving her hand, saying she hasn’t been able to do that at all. We ask the obvious question, “Where’s the pain?” and she answers, “It’s gone.” We also talk honestly about what she’s been dealing with, including the “cracked” feeling in her shoulder and the fact she’s been on a lot of Tylenol, while holding to the belief that when the medication wears off the pain will still be gone.

This is a focused miracle testimony about Christian healing, prayer for pain relief, and the claim that Jesus still heals today. We describe the visible shift as colour returns to her hand and fingers by the end of the service, and we close by praying directly for anyone listening who has pain in an arm, elbow, or hand right now. Sunday, I told my friend Gary to make certain to bring his wife to the Sunday night encounters healing service. His wife had fallen in a department store and she had hurt her rotator cuff and her arm really, really bad. In fact, the ambulance had to take her to the hospital when this happened. This was about six and a half weeks ago. So he went and brought his wife that night to the encounters healing service. And when she walked into the room, the service had already started, but I immediately picked her out and I said, Lynn, walk to me right now in the name of Jesus, for God is going to take the

pain off of you and give you a brand new arm. She walked up that aisle, she got close up to me, and I just stood there and I waited. I put my hand on her shoulder and I declared all the pain was leaving and a new arm was coming. Suddenly she looked down at her hand and she began to move it. And she said, I have not been able to move this hand. And she began to move it all over. She said, I couldn't do this. I said, Where's the pain? She

said, It's gone. And she kept moving her hand and moving her hand and moving her hand. And I asked her about the shoulder. She said, Well, it's cracked. I said, has it been in pain? She said, Yes, it has, but I'm on a lot of Tylenol. I said, when the Tylenol wears off, you will no longer have pain. And she kept moving her hand and was just astonished. And her husband, who had brought her, was sitting a ways

back, and the look on his face was just absolutely wonderful. I am here to tell you once again that Jesus is the God of miracles. He caused this friend of mine, this woman in her 70s, to begin to move her hand all over that was stuck that a therapist could not even move. When the therapist tried to work on it, she would cry from all the pain. The pain is gone, the hand has returned to normal. By the time the service was over, all the color came back into the hand, into the fingers, and her husband was so astonished. I say to you in the name of Jesus, any pain that you have in your arm, in your elbow, or in your hand is leaving right now in Jesus' name.
