A Word Of Knowledge That Sparks A Dancer’s Healing

A single sentence can change the temperature in a room: “I know you have an ankle problem.” That’s how this story begins, right in the middle of a miracle healing service, when Linda Budd describes receiving a word of knowledge that lands with startling specificity. No big build-up, no vague language, just a clear moment of spiritual discernment and a gentle question to confirm what’s happening in someone’s body.
From there, we move into the practical side of Christian healing ministry. We talk through what it looks like to pray for physical healing in the name of Jesus and then immediately test for results. “Stand up, move it around” becomes more than a prompt, it becomes a way of turning faith into an honest check. If you care about topics like miraculous healing, prayer for ankle pain, spiritual gifts, charismatic church practices, or modern-day healing testimonies, this short account gives you a clean, concrete example to think with.
The detail that makes this testimony hit harder is the person receiving prayer: she’s a professional dancer. An ankle injury doesn’t just hurt, it can limit a career, a craft, and a sense of freedom in motion. We reflect on why specificity matters, why compassion matters, and why the focus stays on Jesus rather than the person leading the prayer.
If this encouraged you, subscribe for more conversations like this, share it with someone who needs hope today, and leave a review with your thoughts. What’s your honest reaction to stories of healing like this?

Setting The Healing Service Scene
Linda BuddWe were doing the miracle healing service, and I was leading it, and I looked at a woman and I knew that she had an ankle problem from a word of knowledge that the Lord just spoke to my mind. So I asked her, and she said yes, and I said, Well, your ankle is being healed right now in the name of Jesus. Stand up, move it around. So she did, and uh she began to move it around, she began to walk around, and the pain left her. The great thing is that this woman is a professional dancer, and so this was something that was holding her back. So we just give Jesus praise that he heals ankles, and he is healing your ankle
