The Devil Tried To Choke Her With Grief

Grief can be quiet, but it is rarely gentle. Sometimes it shows up as heaviness you cannot shake. Sometimes it shows up in the body as tightness, fatigue, and even trouble swallowing. We talk through a striking story of a woman dealing with serious esophagus problems, including having her esophagus stretched, while also carrying the heartbreak of losing a daughter to cancer. That kind of loss does not stay in one place, and we name what it can do to the soul and the body.
